Mothers Against Addiction is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping mothers and families affected by addiction. We offer support, resources, and information to mothers struggling with addiction, as well as those who have lost a child to addiction. We believe that mothers are the key to ending the cycle of addiction, and we are committed to helping them heal and rebuild their lives.

My name is Natasha Crabtree. I was an addict and now I am 13 years sober.

While an addict I never felt good for myself on the inside which in turn reflected my outward appearance.

The power of a makeover should not be underestimated. Everyone knows this, but few understand the full scope of its potential. The vast majority of those whose lives have been affected by addiction face struggles on multiple fronts, with the effects often cascading and leaving them feeling less than capable to make any kind of change. With our help, these women can access hair stylists who specialize in enabling people in such difficult situations to feel beautiful on the outside and prepare themselves mentally for success. Having that extra confidence built through hair styling can often mean the difference between someone being able to raise themselves up and remain stuck in a downward spiral. Our initiative is just one small step that we can take towards helping these women ever onwards and upwards.

So through my sobriety one of my main goals was to give women a fighting chance to make themselves feel better on the outside so they can feel confident on the inside.

I was lucky enough to pull myself out from under addiction, find a loving husband and have 5 wonderful children and start my own salon called MJ Luxe Styles in the Columbus, Ohio area.

To keep my promise I am working with Mothers Against Addiction, The Covering Ministry and other wonderful groups in the community to give women who are breaking addiction a fighting chance.

With your help and through these groups each woman will receive a hair style to give them the confidence they need to pull themselves up and get a fresh start.

With your help these women can get the motivation and continued support they need.

Together we can elevate and inspire women and bring out their true beauty for the next chapter of their lives.
