MOBILITY CHALLENGE- We here at Variety the Children's Charity-New York have got to get our kids moving again!
The demand is high and we need your help to provide the resources to purchase bikes, wheelchairs, strollers, carts and lifts to put a smile on each Variety Child.

Each Variety Child has different needs and with that comes a cost to build a specific resource for that child. Whether it is a specialized wheelchair, bike or stroller each customized resource is specifically built for that child to enhance their life.

Unfortunately insurance or government programs do not always cover the cost for the family.

Together through the Freedom program, we change children’s lives by granting items and services that provide independence, mobility and freedom. We can make a difference in every Variety Child's life and we challenge you to step up!

Use of funds

To purchase these specialized bikes and wheelchairs for the children, Variety and its sponsors are on a mission to challenge each of you to help keep the hopes up of these children and make their dreams of being mobile come true.

The World Health Organization estimates that there are 93 million children ages 0-14 living with moderate to severe disabilities worldwide. In the United States alone, there are 11 million children that have special healthcare needs. Since 1928, Variety has been there to help these children purchase specialized bikes and wheelchairs to give them the mobility they need and independence they deserve.

In these trying times NO CHILD should miss out on the simple pleasures of childhood because his or her family cannot afford the necessary equipment.
